My client has released their first platform and is working on their second one.

They are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join their London team.



As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be involved in assessing their current testing capabilities, putting together a strategy for both manual and automated testing, and executing tests.

You will also be involved with all tiers of the platform to ensure their test strategy is of the highest quality.



My client is a relatively new and care about the good quality of codes but also the inventiveness of their employees which is why your idea will always be welcome and you will be given the opportunity to shape the platform to its best.



  • Designing and writing test automation scripts
  • Continuous integration (ideally using Jenkins)
  • Using test automation frameworks (ideally using Selenium)
  • Executing manual tests
  • Using database technologies for querying or changing data for testing purposes (ideally SQL in PostgreSQL)
  • Reproducing bugs reported by users and writing up bug reports
  • Working with software developers to find solutions


  • Mathematical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Teamwork skills, because most projects require input from individuals with different roles
  • The ability to constructively participate in technical and functional discussions
  • The ability to quickly understand new technologies and applications
  • Agile software release processes and cycles
