Technical Account Manager / Technical Pre sales Manager

Our client, an award winning managed service provider is looking for a Technical Account Manager / Technical Pre sales Manager to join their growing organisation in London.

Your role will be to provide Technical Account Management resource to fully managed clients, delivering technical and strategic advice via on client site meetings and internal meetings. Working alongside the Service Delivery Manager and Account Manager, you will be responsible for the production and quarterly updating of client’s technical roadmaps. As well as your full service clients you will be expected to work with the more general account management team (as and when needed) on technical requirements that other clients may have.

  • Developing High Level Designs based on client’s requirements
  • Ability to construct and deliver high quality presentations in person, and via remote meetings
  • Excellent understanding of IT industry terminology
  • Demonstrable previous experience working in the IT service management industry
  • Experience working to deadlines in an occasionally pressured environment
  • Highly articulate, professional communicator both verbally and written with a client centric focus
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Office, key line of business applications such as AutoTask and reporting packages
  • Continually demonstrating effective commercial judgement
  • Natural problem-solving skills
  • An ability to embrace and manage change in a dynamic and fast growing organisation
