NPD Development Engineer – East Sussex – £30-£40k

Role:

You will be working as a NPD (New Product Development) Engineer, you will work with the Technical Manager and other key stakeholders to develop and implement new NPD projects. You will be responsible for leading functional and reliability test activities and reporting.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Define and execute test plans
  • Analysis and reporting of test results for communication internally to engineering management and wider non-technical audience
  • Ensure full documentation is completed for all projects
  • Contribute risk analysis utilising FMEA’s or other methodologies
  • Identify and evaluate new innovative solutions for technology developments
  • To work within budgetary constraints in a cost-effective, diligent, organised and professional manner

 

Experience requirements:

 

  • Experience of functional and reliability testing of electromechanical products
  • Broad working knowledge of electromechanical systems
  • Experience of DFMEA (or other methodologies)
  • Ability to produce technical reports to a high standard
  • Good problem-solving skills
