Business Development Manager/Executive, London

My client is a leading developer of fiber optic broadband (FTTP) services in London. With a highly competitive product, the client is expanding rapidly, so an opportunity has arisen for a telecoms experienced, business development manager to join this exciting company.

 

The Role

The role as Business Development Manager is representing the client’s image while prospecting for new clients using a variety of methods such as networking and cold calling. You must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. You’ll also be expected to:

  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Identify new opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Forecast sales targets and submit weekly progress reports ensuring they are met.

 

The Individual

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Driven with a self-starting attitude
  • Negotiation and strategic sales planning experience
  • Strong rapport and relationship building skills
  • Desire to provide outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Experience in UK telecoms beneficial but not necessary
