THE ROLE

You will be fully responsible for the physical infrastructure and security of the UK entity; ensuring reliable connectivity, network and client services operations and management. In addition, you will look after the management of the network operations team planning and infrastructure projects and three members of staff.

This is an exciting, hands on role which will see you design projects and build infrastructures. You will make sure that the infrastructure is resilient, reliable and secure for both clients and staff.

Additional responsibilities will see you combining client services (mainly DevOps) processes to underpin an Agile way of working (including cloud infrastructure)

THE PERSON

In order to succeed in this you will ideally have the following knowledge, skills and experiences:

Delivery Manager

Role:

My client, who is fast becoming one of the most recognised companies in the telecommunications sector, is looking to hire a dynamic, driven and passionate delivery manager for their ever expanding team. The company has already achieved massive milestones and this could be the potential role of a lifetime for someone looking to progress their career in the telecommunications sector.

The role will require leading the company’s business installations from a construction standpoint. The delivery manager’s duty is to coordinate the successful completion of B2C installations, ensure that contractor work is in compliance with CFL standards and where required take a more proactive lead in completing installations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of FTTP, Openreach network and Civils delivery
  • Thorough working knowledge of a fibre network build through significant job experience and training on site
  • Experience of managing teams and effectively managing performance
  • Experience and Qualification within street works. Understanding of the New Roads and Streetworks Act 1991 (NRSWA)

Embedded Software QA Test Engineer

Embedded Software System (C++) QA Test Engineer

 

We are looking for a test engineer with good C++ skills and experience and interest in testing.

The candidate will join as an integral part of the company’s project team and offers a hands-on approach to Software and Systems testing

 

Applicants should have commercial exposure and be skilled/qualified in the following:

 

-Working on/with Embedded Systems in C++ (know how to build, run and write C++ code)

-Manage runtime and build dependencies
